Who we are
SM Windows & Doors is a sole-trader business serving Stafford, Cannock, Walsall & Staffordshire. We are responsible for your personal data when you enquire through this page.
Contact us: Smwindowsuk@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address and postcode.
- Your project details and answers, including the number of windows or doors.
- Appointment details when you book a survey.
- Your answers and, where recorded, a recording and transcript of calls with our AI assistant.
- Your enquiry-consent choice, the date and the notice you agreed to.
- If you separately accept advertising tracking, technical visit information and advertising cookies.
How we use it
With your consent, given by ticking the form checkbox, we contact you about your quotation by AI voice-agent call, SMS and email. This permission is separate from advertising cookies.
We use your project and appointment details to book and manage a survey or provide an estimate, taking steps you have requested before entering a contract.
Where calls are recorded, we use recordings and transcripts to check call quality and accuracy and resolve disputes, in our legitimate interests.
About our AI assistant
An automated voice assistant may call on our behalf about your enquiry. It will identify itself as AI and may record your requirements and help arrange a survey. It does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. You can ask to speak to a person at any time.
Who we share it with
We use service providers for the enquiry page, booking and customer-management services: Lovable Cloud, our marketing agency and HighLevel (LeadConnector/GoHighLevel). Your submitted details and enquiry-consent record are delivered to HighLevel and are not publicly readable. Meta receives advertising signals only when you separately permit advertising tracking.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Such transfers require appropriate UK safeguards, such as approved contractual protections or, for eligible recipients, the UK-US data bridge. Contact us for information about the safeguards applying to your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not go ahead: 12 months from your last contact. Call recordings and transcripts: 90 days. If you become a customer, we retain records for as long as needed for warranties and legal obligations.
Optional Meta advertising tracking
Advertising tracking is off until you separately accept through the advertising-cookie banner or Cookie settings. The AI-call/SMS form checkbox does not permit advertising tracking. Declining advertising does not prevent a quotation. This applies in the UK and all other regions.
If accepted, the Meta Pixel shares page visits and successful quotation submissions with Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), together with page URLs, IP address, browser/device information and advertising cookies such as _fbp and, where applicable, _fbc. Meta uses these signals for advertising measurement, attribution and optimisation. We do not send your form name, email, phone, postcode or project answers to the Pixel, and this installation does not enable customer matching or server-side conversion uploads.
Meta may process information outside the UK. See Meta’s Privacy Policy for its handling of data and advertising controls.
Changing your choice
Open Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to accept or reject advertising. Opening settings does not change your choice. Withdrawal stops future Pixel events, including in other open tabs; it cannot undo information already shared with Meta. Events blocked before acceptance are never replayed.
This browser stores a consent history containing a random visitor reference, the date, choice and notice version and text shown. A later withdrawal preserves the earlier acceptance evidence. Clearing browser storage removes this local record and switches tracking off until you choose again. Browser-level advertising opt-outs and cookie controls remain available.
Your rights and withdrawing enquiry consent
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction or deletion, restriction of or objection to its use, and transfer to another provider where applicable.
Withdraw enquiry-contact consent by replying STOP to a text, telling our assistant during a call or emailing Smwindowsuk@gmail.com. Withdrawal does not affect what we did before you withdrew it. To withdraw advertising permission, use Cookie settings.
Complaints
Please contact us first. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
